This cycle route runs across a part of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug where there are many places of interest, nature and good quality restaurants and bars. You will pass through Driebergen, Austerlitz and Huis ter Heide. This used to be the Prince Alexander boarding school for blind and partially-sighted children. Amongst others, Princess Margriet enjoyed education here. You will also pass through Bosch en Duin and at Zeist we recommend a visit to the visitor centre Boswerf where you will find extensive information about the nature on the Heuvelrug.
