The Voerman Stadsmuseum Hattem owes its name to the painters Jan Voerman sr. and Jan Voerman jr. The museum for visual arts, but also for history and archaeology is housed in two atmospheric mansions in the historical inner city of Hattem. The medieval history of Hattem and archaeological finds, such as the thousand-year old bell jar, find their place in this museum.
