St. John's Church - Weidum

N 53.1451312 / E 5.7378692

This church, originally dedicated to the evangelist John and built out of monastic jokes, dates from the 13th century; a century younger than the tower that contains traces from the 12th century. In the tower are bells by Gerard van Wou and Johan Terstege from 1531 and Hans Falck from 1626. The church has hardly undergone any changes in recent centuries.
