Brasserie Bie de groeve - Meerssen

Close to the Curfsgroeve you will find Brasserie Bie de groeve, hidden between the slope forests and the Geul valley. The brasserie owes its name to its location. Marl has been mined along the quarry for over 70 years. Mergel is a chalk rock that was used for various purposes, for example to produce cement and was (and is) used as a building material.

South Limburg is known as a Burgundian region, and Bie de groeve fits in nicely. Bie de brasserie offers plenty of special and tasty regional products. For example, you can enjoy zoervleisj, a traditional Limburg stew. Add one of the many regional beers and your Limburg experience is complete.
