Voerman Museum Hattem - Hattem

N 52.4752047 / E 6.0671872

The picturesque museum owes its name to the collection of paintings by Jan Voerman sr. and Jan Voerman jr. The latter is best known for his illustrations of the Verkade albums, but his flower still lifes are also worth a visit. His father is known for his IJssel landscapes with the famous high skies and clouds. The museum offers more than the Voerman collection, such as paintings by Jo Koster, sculpture by Bé Thoden van Velzen and a historical collection of the city of Hattem, including 4,000 year old Veluwe bell mugs. In short: a versatile museum, accessible to a wide audience.
