Cycling route UNESCO World Heritage

Amsterdam, Utrecht, Rotterdam
A cycling route along all the UNESCO World Heritage sites of the Netherlands! Lubricate your bike chain and make sure you wear good cycling pants because this route of almost 800 kilometres is a challenging trip. And that has not only to do with the distance, but especially with the unique get-off-the-bike moments that are very exceptional in the world. Together they tell the story about our country, and you can discover this exclusive story on your bike.
Taste the salt on your lips at the Wadden Sea, count the windmills at Kinderdijk, blow off steam at the Woudage pumping station, immerse yourself in the Golden Age on Amsterdam's ring of canals, visit Gerrit Rietveld, plough through the polders in the Beemster, lie in front of Pampus at the Defence Line of Amsterdam, experience the lighting at the Van Nelle factory and cycle back in time on the former island of Schokland.
Extend the cycling route a little (in your mind) by adding Willemstad, also a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and imagine yourself on the Caribbean island of CuraƧao.
Here you can expand your route with pitstops

No pitstops added yet
Congratulations on your cycling route!
