Watch post 5 - Liempde
Watch post 5 marks a former railway crossing of the Duits Lijntje. The crossing is no longer in use, but two Saint Andrew’s crosses still remind us of the time when trains passed here. At this spot there once stood a watchman who stopped traffic when a steam train approached. Now the crossing has been reclaimed by nature and forms a peaceful point along the route.
