Boxtel, Schijndel, Veghel

Cycle along the tracks of history with the first stage of the German Line a special route of about 30 kilometres between Boxtel and Veghel. Trains once ran here that connected London Berlin and even Saint Petersburg.

During this ride you follow parts of the old railway line pass former stations and cross old railway bridges. The route winds through the beautiful nature of Het Groene Woud where you see the industrial history reflected in the landscape.

Along the way you pass places full of memories of past travellers tsars pilgrims soldiers and liberators. What was once a busy railway is now a relaxing cycle route full of stories and discoveries.

This stage is the first of three routes that together tell the complete history of the German Line from Boxtel to Gennep. So hop on enjoy the ride and let yourself be carried away by the tracks of the past.
