This romantic castle was built in 1904 for the Dutch aristocrat Egbert Lintelo de Geer. As a keen collector of antiques De Geer acquired a huge quantity of art objects from nearby churches, monasteries and castles, among which the wrought iron door knockers from the dome of Utrecht.
