Railway bridge Canal - Veghel
At this spot the Duits Lijntje crossed the Zuid-Willemsvaart. Until 2014 there was, a little further on, a railway bridge that was regularly opened for passing ships. Originally this was a swing bridge, later replaced by a manually operated lift bridge. The bridge recalls a time when rail and shipping literally came together here.
