Mill De Jonge Johannes - Serooskerke
Here you can enjoy panoramic views while enjoying a drink and a snack, on the patio or in the atmospheric restaurant. Children can have fun on the playground, on the go-kart track, in the corn maze or at the mini petting zoo. The mill probably dates from 1835 and was formerly also called De Jonge Johannes. In 1572-1574 the first local mill of the craftsman was burned and rebuilt. The predecessor of the current mill, a post mill, was probably demolished in 1835 due to dilapidation and was replaced by De Hoop. The red rods and green windboards with yellow front hem give the mill a cheerful appearance, as do the green doors and shutters in the yellow hull.
