Wemeldinge has two windmills and when you cycle into the village, these two white mills immediately catch your eye. Mill de Hoop is the oldest mill and dates from 1866. Nevertheless, the mill is still (occasionally) in operation. On Saturdays, the miller is present and you can visit De Hoop between 13.00 and 16.00 hours.
