Farm museum De Neeth - Aalten

N 51.95879 / E 6.575555

Farmhouse Museum De Neeth is housed in a barn dating from 1910 and has largely remained in its old state. The barn belongs to the adjacent farm De Neeth and dates from 1914. The museum houses a unique collection of utensils for household and farm use, from which you can get a good sense of how the people in the Achterhoek lived and worked. The dairy farm is also a play farm and even has a corn maze. While the children play in the sandbox and the cottages or have fun on the air cushions, you can relax on the terrace. While enjoying a cup of coffee or tea, the playing field is completely overlooked. Everything is completely self-service, there is a can/pot in which you can put the money for the coffee/tea. Just as easy! They also have a vending machine for soft drinks and sweets. Don't forget to bring some change with you. Additional tip, bring dry clothes for the return trip because the sandpit with water is usually a favorite.
