The former wood shed of Leerdam has been converted into a unique location: the Glass Factory. Glass blowers are at work here making the most beautiful objects from liquid glass that is 1100 degrees hot. The process is explained to you and there is plenty of room to ask questions. Of course, there is also a shop where you can buy glass objects, and for a snack or a drink you can visit the Uitblazerij. For those who still have not had enough of glass, this visit can also be combined with the Nationaal Glasmuseum (National Glass Museum), located a little further along the river Linge.
