Beautifully situated in the polders of National Landscape Arkemheen Eeemland, you will find Country Shop De Kastanjeboom.

At the Country Shop, you will find delicious, high-quality local produce, sourced from their own farm or colleagues in the neighbourhood. A collaboration of proud farmers, shortening the food chain and strengthening the quality of life in the countryside. You can choose from farmhouse dairy, delicious cheeses, organic meat and homemade fruit juices and jams. You will also find great gift packs here!

Need a breather? You can do so on the terrace of the little café. The cappuccinos feature farm milk from their own cows and the pastries come from the local, artisan bakery in Nijkerk.

You'll be extra comfortable on the terrace at the Kiemplekken, behind the Landwinkel. In this spot, chestnuts have been planted that will germinate in season. Slowly, you can watch the little sprouts grow. This space is also available for brainstorming sessions or team building, to 'sprout' new ideas.
