Located along various cycle and walking routes through the Green Heart and the Leiden region, De Meester is a cosy village café with a sunny terrace where you can take a break during your cycle route.

There is no doubt about the origin of the name of this café. Until 1993, the headmaster of the local boys' school lived here. The building behind the café, where you now find the halls, used to house the classrooms. In the place where the pupils once sat silently working, they now regularly kick up their feet.

You can also charge your bike battery here (just ask).
