Bottle Ship Museum - Enkhuizen
In the Bottle Ship Museum, you’ll find over 1,000 bottles – including ships from the early days of sailing and the Dutch East India Company (VOC) era. You’ll also see miniature vessels from the world of fishing, whaling and rescue services.
The museum also features themed exhibitions that highlight different aspects of maritime history or showcase the work of well-known bottle ship builders. A continuous video presentation explains how the ship actually gets into the bottle – a fascinating process to watch.
