Bicycle & pedestrian ferry De Grietman - Oudega
With the ferry De Grietman you quickly reach the other side. From here, you can visit National Park De Alde Feanen. Even if you do not visit the park, a ferry crossing is always fun to do.
In the old days, if you wanted to go to the other side, you had to hit a yellow rim with a hammer and a rowing boat would pick you up for the crossing. This 'bell' can still be admired.
