The Airmen Memorial at Soesterberg has been erected in memory of all Dutch servicemen of the military aviation who fell during their service in the period after 1913.

The monument, which now consists of 20 granite columns, was unveiled on 14 September 2007. The first column bears the text, "They gave their lives for our peace and freedom." Below it are engraved the names of the 1213 fallen soldiers.
