The museum is housed in a former synagogue built in 1838. It houses a treasure trove of silver manufactured in Schoonhoven. You will find unique silver and also gold jewellery, but also modern large silver and typical Jewish silverware are presented here.

On the first floor, the largest museum collection of antique Schoonhoven silver in the Netherlands is exhibited. With more than 800 objects dating from 1600 to 1930, you will embark on a journey through the silver story of Schoonhoven.
