The Brabant Dune Region surrounds the National Park Loonse and Drunense Duinen. In this nature-rich area you’ll find many agricultural entrepreneurs, known as the “Dune Farmers”. Each of them offers delicious local treats.

How about fresh asparagus at Van Iersel farm? This “white gold” is available from mid-April to the end of June (the asparagus season), just like their locally grown strawberries. Please note: after June, the farm is closed.

Pick your own fruit and vegetables at the cosy picking garden and terrace at Boshoeve Sprankenhof. At IJshoeve Uijlenborch, you can taste fresh fruit in their homemade farm ice cream, made with milk from their own organic cows and, where possible, fruit from the surrounding area.

Fancy a glass of milk? Then be sure to stop at Verhoeven Milk Tap, where you can fill your own bottle with fresh, raw milk from the cows grazing nearby.
