Straight through the Deurnsche Peel

Where once there was an impenetrable swamp, you now find a beautiful nature reserve: the Deurnsche Peel. Water, heathland, open plains, sand ridges, peat moss; in short: an area where many plants and animals feel at home. For example, you may just encounter the trumpeting crane. Although the area is ideal for walking (put on waterproof walking shoes!) there is also a road between the Brabantse and Limburgse Pelen, so you cycle through the middle of the area.
