Have you spotted the Big Five yet? This is possible in Drenthe, although Drenthe is not really 'ordinary'. The rich history and beautiful nature make a visit to this area more than worthwhile. This cycle route offers you the opportunity to visit five of the fifty-two Hunebeden. One of these five is actually the largest Hunebed. This Hunebed is located in Borger and is almost twenty-three meters long.

In addition to visiting the Hunebedden, you can also learn more about the history of this area along the way. In the Hunebed Center in Borger you will discover everything about the origin of these Dolmens and how the people lived at that time. All this in a fun and interactive way.

On the road you will come across a number of establishments to rest and have a drink. A visit to the ceramic garden is recommended.

If the route is just a little too long for you, you can book an overnight stay for the road and divide the kilometers over several days. Of course, you can also cut off a piece, but then you cannot tick off all five.
