This cycling route lets you enjoy not only the beautiful North Holland countryside but also the delicious world of local bread. Several pitstops have been added to the route so you can learn all about the bread-making process. And your senses won’t miss out – you’ll get to taste plenty of grain-based treats along the way!

Hop off at the Zuiderzee Museum to visit the historic pastry bakery, or dive into the world of baking at the bakery museum in Medemblik. On Saturdays, step inside De Herder mill and grind your own flour. Taste freshly baked bread from Korenmolen Ceres at the Zorgbrasserie by the mill in Bovenkarspel. Delicious!
