Looking for Scottish Highlanders

Otterlo, Hoenderloo, Veluwe
In the Deelerwoud you will find everything that makes the Veluwe so beautiful. Large vast forests, moors and all in a rolling landscape. This Deelerwoud is much quieter than, for example, the Hoge Veluwe or Veluwezoom. Because of that peace, it is possible that you spot a beautiful (wild) animal, including the Scottish Highlander who keep the moors open here. You will also cycle through various villages such as Otterlo and Hoenderloo where you can relax.
The Hoge Veluwe National Park is a beautiful nature reserve in the province of Gelderland, founded in 1935. During this cycling route you cycle through the woods around the nature park. Do you still want to visit the Hoge Veluwe National Park? Then this will cost you an entrance ticket. The main source of income for this park is the entrance tickets that are sold to visit the park. This is because the park is a private land property and an independent foundation that barely uses government subsidies. You can combine a visit to this park with a visit to the Kröller Müller Museum or Jachthuis Sint Hubertus.
