Garderen, Ermelo, Stroe

The theme of this cycle route was created for two reasons: the beaches along the waterways and the Sand Sculptures at De Beeldentuin in Garderen. The beach starts at Nulde and you follow it all the way to Harderwijk. At the Sculpture Garden, in addition to all the sculptures in the garden, the shop and the lunchroom, you can see sand sculptures with different themes every year. The results are magnificent!

The roads in between are very rural. You will mainly encounter farms and small villages. Some of the excursions that we have added to the cycle route are Landgoed Oldenaller and Molen de Koe, to stay in the rural mood. Starting with the last kilometres of this route, it is time to get some fresh air. For almost 10 kilometres, you cycle along the waters of Wolderwijd and Nuldernauw. Stop along the way for a beautiful view of the Wolderwijd or a (romantic) beach walk. When you get home, the sand will still be between your toes! Fortunately, you will keep beautiful memories of the cycle route.
