Cycle route along the Nuldernauw and through Putten
In a deed from 855, Wells is mentioned for the first time. Putten is then an agricultural area, mainly owned by the monasteries Werden, Elten and Abdinckhof in Paderborn. Until 1803, these possessions were the responsibility of a chaplain or kelnarij. The Kelnarijstraat, the Abdinckhofstraat and the Paderbornstraat still refer to this. Ermelo is a municipality where many care organisations settled at the end of the 19th century. But tourists also know how to find their way to this beautifully situated village. In the summer the number of inhabitants triples!
Cycle along the Nuldernauw, visit two windmills, take a look in two museums or get off at the petting zoo. Enough to see and do during this cycle route on the Veluwe!
