Cycle route along the Nuldernauw and through Putten

Putten, Ermelo
Putten is mentioned for the first time in a document from 855. Putten is then an agricultural area, mainly in the possession of the monasteries Werden, Elten and Abdinckhof in Paderborn. Until 1803, these possessions were under the responsibility of a waiter or waiter (an old word for the economist of a monastery). The Kelnarijstraat, the Abdinckhofstraat and the Paderbornstraat still refer to this. Ermelo is a municipality where many care organizations settled at the end of the 19th century. But tourists also know how to find their way to this beautifully situated place. In summer, the population triples!
Cycle along the Nuldernauw, visit two windmills, take a look at two museums or stop at the petting zoo. Plenty to see and do during this cycling route in the Veluwe!
