Zoo Veldhoven - Veldhoven
Veldhoven Zoo once started as the Stichting Nederlandse Opvang Papegaaien (Dutch Parrot Care Foundation). Since 2013 it has been renamed to the current Zoo. As soon as you enter the park you are welcomed by the many species of parrots. You can feed them with the special nuts you can buy at the cash register.
You will also meet other exotic birds, such as flamingos and pelicans, as well as the huge collection of birds of prey, vultures and owls. Besides birds, there are also zebras, ring-tailed lemurs, camels and alpacas. Of course, there are playgrounds for children all over the park. There is even a covered Bamboo Jungle where you can play inside! What an adventure!
