The Zevenhuizerplas is located just above Rotterdam near the Eendragtspolder. The lake originated from sand extraction and is beautiful to cycle along or take a walk around. In the quieter parts, you can see many waterbirds. Think kingfishers, cormorants, herons and various species of reed birds. You can also visit a real swamp forest.
