Windmill Ter Leede - Leerdam
Mill Ter Leede is a typical wip mill. The entire top is rotatable with these types of mills. Traditionally, these mills were used to pump the polders dry when they were in danger of being flooded.
Mill Ter Leede also provided dry polders, until the top shaft broke in 1940 and the mill fell into disrepair. After a number of changes of ownership and restorations, the mill has been active again since 2017.
