Surrounded by fields, gardens and an orchard lies a farm where farm life of the past comes to life. This old, thatched farmhouse is a national monument and still largely in its original state.
In the yard are the old barns, filled with tools and equipment that were used at the time for milking, threshing and slaughtering. In the farmhouse itself, you can see how families lived and worked, complete with a classic stove, children's toys and a school classroom from that time.
After your visit, you can take a seat in the garden or on the terrace, with a view of the Twente countryside, before continuing your cycle ride through the vast landscape.
