Weaving De Ploeg - Bergeijk
Did you know that Bergeijk was so artistic? In this village you can find several works of art by Gerrit Rietveld. He designed a clock, a bus shelter, two houses and the industrial artwork you are standing in front of now; Weaving De Ploeg. The Bruns showroom is now located in the weaving. The interior has been completely modernised, but still reflects Rietveld's style. The showroom is open five days a week and can be visited free of charge.
There is even more art to be found around the Weaving. Take a stroll and discover more works by Gerrit Rietveld and Mien Ruys. On Tuesday, Thursday and Friday you can book a guided tour and on the other days you can go on your own.
