Walking in the floodplains of the Zwarte Water is an experience. You walk over the high winding dikes on both sides of the river and the forelands. Here and there, a church tower rises out of the landscape and you hear the dreamy song of a curlew. You look out over the other area through which this route runs: Polder Mastenbroek, one of the oldest polders in our country.
