Located at the foot of the German Reichswald, you’ll find De Banen. This former sand and gravel extraction site of the Teunesen company has been redeveloped together with Natuurmonumenten. It is now a wonderful place for walking and enjoying nature.

Numerous bird species, such as the kingfisher, redstart and dragonfly species like the Norfolk hawker, can regularly be spotted around the water. The Waldzicht viewpoint is the perfect place to take in this natural spectacle.
