The Volkspark in Enschede is the oldest Volkspark in the Netherlands and is 15 hectares in size, high time for a visit. The largest part was designed by Dirk Wattez. Typical of his work are the meandering serpentine ponds. You will find plenty of them in the park.

At Easter and in autumn, funfairs are held here.
