You used to be able to cross the Old Meuse at this spot; the bridge no longer exists and was replaced by a tunnel in 1969.

Nowadays, it is a popular viewpoint with cyclists. From here, you look out over the Old Meuse and if you look closely, you can see remnants of the old bridge on the other side.
