Town Hall of Nieuwpoort - Nieuwpoort

The town hall is not the first and original town hall. However, this building was built on the same spot in 1697. The monument was built on a brick overhang of the harbour. The overpass had an inlet sluice so that, in the event of a threat from the enemy, the surroundings of the fortress could be flooded.
