TOP Schermermolens - Schermerhorn
De Schermer is a unique reclaimed pumping station: mills were not only placed along the edge, but also in the pumping station itself. It was not until the 20th century that pumping stations took over the work of the mills. However, many Schermer mills have been preserved and designated as a national monument.
