Tielemans farm shop - Bavel

The story of the Tielemans family farm began in 1985, when Wim and Anja chose to start a business together. For both, farming life was instilled in them from an early age.

In the first years, they grew various vegetables, such as endive and Chinese cabbage. In 1988, they switched completely to white asparagus, and with success. To this day, Tielemans Farm specialises in 'white gold'.

During the season (February to June), white and green asparagus are harvested daily and offered for sale in the farm shop, fresh from the land.

The shop also offers ingredients for a complete asparagus meal, such as ham on the bone and eggs, farmer's cheese, onions, herbs, homemade jams, local beers and wines and strawberries from their own garden.

Drop by when the shop is closed? Then you can always visit the fruit and vegetable vending machine or the yard for fresh asparagus and strawberries.
