The Kibbelkoele - Noord-Sleen
The Kibbelkoele is a recreational lake just outside Sleen, nestled in the forests of Sleenerzand. You reach it via a peaceful path through the trees, and suddenly the landscape opens up. The water lies sheltered among the pines, surrounded by a grassy field. There's a small beach, a picnic spot, and you can take a swim or just sit with your feet in the sand.
For cyclists, it’s a lovely place to take a break. There are benches, plenty of shade from the trees and space for a picnic. On site, you'll find toilets and a kiosk for a snack or drink. A welcoming spot to catch your breath in the heart of nature, where birdsong is the main soundtrack.
