The Goudse Waag / Cheese and Crafts Museum - Gouda
This authentic building was designed in 1668 by architect Pieter Post. The ground floor was formerly used to weigh the cheeses. Nowadays, the Gouda Weighing House has been converted into a Cheese and Craft Museum. Here you can learn about the history of cheese, the products that were weighed and traded here and how cheese is made. You can also attend a demonstration of the making of Gouda clay pipes. VVV Gouda is also located on the ground floor.
