Between the ramparts and beautiful trees you will find the small island of Ravelijn. Just before you enter Brielle, you come across this part of the fortifications. For a long time you could not visit it but the Brielsche Aap has ensured that you too can now enjoy it. Food, drink, culture and nature, you will experience it all here!

You can have a lovely walk on the Ravelijn, where there is a lot of flora and fauna to discover. For example, this is home to two heron colonies and cormorants fly in and out.

In summer, you can enjoy various performances and shows in the open-air theater here. The Brielsche Aap also likes to put local and national artists in the limelight, regularly hosting beautiful exhibitions.
