The Bee Farm - Strijbeek

The Bee Farm in Strijbeek is a bee centre with various activities and a bee shed, a beekeepers’ shop, a hall centre and a nectar plant garden in one! A visit to The Bee Farm introduces you to everything about bees and professional and hobby beekeeping.

In the large shop, you can browse the shelves full of products provided by the bees, such as different types of honey, sweets and biscuits made with honey, beeswax candles and much more. A tip if you’re looking for an original gift!

Of course, bees are also kept at The Bee Farm, which in turn pollinate the fruit-bearing plants in the adjacent garden and greenhouses. The bee colonies can also be ‘hired’ by agricultural and horticultural growers.

Feel free to have a cup of coffee with something sweet and take a break in the garden with a view of the bee shed, while learning more about the ways and habits of the busy bees.
