At first sight, it may seem like a large plain with only shrubbery and heather, but there is much more! At the 'Het Beuven' fens, you will find the largest pond in the whole of the Netherlands. Here you will come across many different plants and animals, such as various types of dragonflies, moor frogs and perhaps even a natterjack toad.
