The place used to be called Vlasmeertje, but the municipality of Heerde later changed it to Pluizenmeertje because of the 'fluffy' moor grass. It is a beautiful area for walking and cycling along the magnificent nature. Sheep used to be washed here and there is still a chance that you will encounter grazing sheep at this location. You cannot cycle to this lake, you will have to walk a little bit.
