Panorama Coepelduynen - Noordwijk
The Coepelduynen are the characteristic, open dune landscape between Noordwijk and Katwijk, with calcareous dune grasslands, wild roses and rare plants and mosses, including orchids and Lizard Orchid. From the cycle path along the sea ridge you have a stunning view of the dunes, where you can admire this panorama.
From Beach Entrance 1C in Noordwijk you walk a short distance into the dunes in a south-easterly direction. After a few hundred metres you reach a spacious spot along the cycle path where you can look out over the dune valleys, grasslands, the sea and the inland area.
Between 15 March and 15 August it’s nesting season and the central part is closed to walkers. Please stay on the cycle path and follow any diversions along the edge of the area.
