Pancake Farmhouse 't Hoes van Hol-An - Aalden
There’s no better place to soak up the Drenthe atmosphere than in the historic village of Oud Aalden. Around the lovely village green, dotted with old oaks, you’ll find rare Old Saxon farmhouses, as if casually scattered by hand.
The surrounding countryside, where ’t Hoes van Hol-An is located, remains relatively untouched. This cosy food spot is housed in one of the authentic farmhouses and decorated with respect for its history, without feeling like a museum.
Guests can sit indoors at long wooden tables or outside on the sheltered terrace, overlooking the garden and surrounding greenery. The menu highlights local ingredients, served in simple yet carefully prepared dishes, homemade soup, artisanal bread, cakes or a seasonal warm meal.
