When you add the OERmuseum in Diever to your cycle route, you can discover how the West Drenthe countryside was formed. That happened about 120,000 years ago in the penultimate ice age. See a collection of artefacts from various periods in the permanent collection.
You can also come here for changing exhibitions, guided tours and indoor and outdoor activities. Some of these include the Mammoth Days, workshops, lectures and Discovery Days. So be sure to check the OERmuseum's calendar on their website before your visit.
