Nature reserve De Fochtel - Ravenswoud
De Fochtel is an area where nature can take its own course. Here, raised bog is created because the area is designed to retain rainwater, restoring nature to what it used to be.
At the conclusion of the land development project, a poem by Willem Tjebbe Oostenbrink was placed in the area in 2013, written in Stellingwerfs.
